How is Digital Health Disrupting Care Provision?   BetaDen’s TechTuesday Event Has The Answers.

Guests will gain insights into how digital technology  is being used by the NHS in response to the Covid-19 pandemic during a free event organised by Worcestershire technology accelerator BetaDen on Tuesday 7 September.

The online event, which forms part of BetaDen’s successful #TechTuesday series, will also provide an opportunity to find out more about how Technology Enabled Health Care Services are driving improvements for service users and their families in social care settings and discover the latest assistive technology developments to help disabled people with a range of disabilities.

Mike Emery, director of digital strategy and infrastructure at NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group will be joined by Rupert Lawrence, head of amica24 - a leading provider of technology-enabled domiciliary care services, and Simon Poole, technical director at Smartbox Assistive Technology, are speakers at the popular event, which has recently attracted delegates from around the globe.

Linda Smith, founder and CEO of BetaDen, said: “Health Tech is a tremendously important and fast-moving sector, which is already making a real and tangible impact on people’s day-to-day lives.

“Our speakers are renowned experts in their fields, leading the adoption and development of remote medicine and assistive technologies, both of which offer huge potential to revolutionise the way we manage public health, both in terms of improving health outcomes but also reducing health inequalities.”

The hour-long event starts at midday on Tuesday 7 September and is free to attend. Find out more and book your place HERE.
