The inaugural Innovation Worcestershire: TechFest has launched with a networking event at the Royal Porcelain Works on 27th January.

Over 100 businesses, educational institutions and individuals from across Worcestershire attended the launch event to be a part of the growing innovation community. Attendees got to hear from speakers around the vision for growing innovation in the county, the plans to build an innovation community for the county and the value of skills and talent development within innovation.

The launch event marked the start of Innovation Worcestershire: TechFest, a two-week series of innovation focused events. Delivered via a partnership between the Worcestershire Growth Hub, BetaDen, Midlands Cyber and Worcestershire County Council.

There are several events left across the two-week programme, however most have already sold out with high levels of interest in the topics. The events are open to all, including businesses of all sizes and sectors and attendees can choose what events and webinars they would like to attend over the two weeks.

By attending TechFest, there are opportunities to:

  • Learn and engage with industry leaders.
  • Discover innovative solutions and opportunities.
  • Foster connections within the thriving tech and business community in Worcestershire.

Don’t miss out on this initiative designed to respond to, and help local businesses, academic institutions and public sector partner with their adoption and understanding of technology to drive innovation.
