Split Second Research (SSR) is a market research agency founded by Geraldine Trufil, originally from the Philippines, along with two British academics, Dr. Eamon Fulcher, born in London but raised in Worcester, and Prof. Gemma Calvert, born in England but raised in Malaysia. SSR moved its base in 2020 from London to the heart of Worcester City. Boasting a 2023 revenue of over £500,000 from its consultancy services, SSR now seeks to push its suite of online market research platforms to the commercialisation phase.
SSR suite is uniquely tailored to target every stage of the consumer research journey, utilising neuromarketing techniques, such as response latency and intuitive customer feelings, to tailor a client’s approach to its consumer base. The suite operates through a single central hub and is the culmination of many years of development and research from the founders’ extensive experience in market research, psychology, and neuroscience.
Working within the BetaDen programme, SSR will take its streamlined consumer research solution towards a subscription as a service (SaaS) model, utilising technology stack mentorship to refine the suite and achieve broader market readiness.
