Worcestershire’s innovation ecosystem continues to gather momentum as BetaDen welcomes its second and final intake of early-stage technology businesses to the Incubate programme at The Old Court in Kidderminster for this financial year.

This milestone marks the continuation of BetaDen’s mission to champion local entrepreneurship, providing tailored support, expert mentorship, and high-quality facilities to help start-ups grow and succeed. The programme, now operating from both South and North Worcestershire, offers participants a unique environment to develop, test and refine their ideas in a supportive and collaborative setting.

The second intake of 2025 brings together a diverse group of founders and businesses working across various sectors, including smart technology and AI, health and wellbeing, financial technology, creative industries, drone technology, social care, and training and safety innovation.

Donston Powell, External Affairs Director at BetaDen, said: “It’s fantastic to see more businesses benefitting from this programme and making use of the outstanding facilities we now have in Kidderminster.

“These founders are building solutions that matter, and we’re proud to provide the right environment, network and expertise to help them thrive.”

Since its inception last year, the programme has now supported over 70 early-stage innovators. With a growing demand for early-stage business support across the region, the expansion of the programme into Kidderminster’s newly transformed Old Court building has enabled even more entrepreneurs to access vital resources closer to home.

Funded by Malvern Hills District Council, Wyre Forest District Council, Wychavon District Council, and the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, the programme offers a diverse range of workshops, mentoring, and peer collaboration, all supported by purpose-built facilities, including co-working spaces and media studios.
