Karen Nolan has discussed her time on the BetaDen Incubate programme in Innovation Worcestershire Case Study

Worcestershire County Council have released a new Innovation Worcestershire case study with Karen Nolan (Incubate 1.0) of Bid Essentials, detailing how with support from the County Council, Worcestershire Growth Hub and BetaDen she was able to transform her career into running a successful bid-writing support business for SME's.

On the development of Bid Essentials, Karen Nolan said 'I wasn't sure if the platform was viable...but over the 9-week programme, BetaDen’s support really spurred me on. I now have people working with me to help shape my pitch and develop the platform.”

Since her time on the Incubate programme, Karen has gained a nomination for the 'Most Promising New Business' category for the 2025 Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber Awards and now provides bid management training for other councils.
