Veg Life (Intake 4.0) founder Rhian Cafull appeared on BBC Radio 2 with Vernon Kay and pitched for Catalyse Angel Network in a week that also saw Veg Life nominated for multiple awards.
It's been a fantastic week for Incubate Intake 4.0 alumni, Veg Life who have seen their founder Rhian Cafull appear on BBC Radio 2 and pitch for the all-new Catalyse Angel Network, whilst both the business and Rhian received a multitude of award nominations.
Veg Life, an innovative plant-based food business located in Malvern notable for their 'Scotchee' brand of scotch eggs received nominations for the Community & Sustainability categories at the C2S Business Awards, alongside nominations in the Entrepreneur, Innovator & Sustainability categories for the Women in Food & Drink Awards, totalling an incredible 5 separate categorical nominations across two separate awards shows.
Away from the award success, Rhian appeared on BBC Radio 2 alongside Vernon Kay, taking part in the 'Ten to the Top' music quiz in which she had the opportunity to discuss Veg Life, leading to a scotch-egg based social media buzz.
That's not all, however as the week also saw Veg Life take part in a pitching event at Malvern Hills Science Park, organised by the all-new Worcestershire-based Catalyse Angel Network, who are looking to connect local entrepreneurs with the investment they need.
We'd like to express a massive congratulations to both Rhian and Veg Life on a week filled with much-deserved success and we look forward to seeing more exciting news down the road.
