Worcestershire’s first dedicated technology accelerator has announced the second cohort that will take residency at Malvern Hills Science Park this August for their 9-month programme.
Eight companies, selected from a wide spectrum of emerging technologies will begin their journey on the 29th of August and spend the next 9 months supported by specialist coaching and mentoring whilst developing their products and solutions towards their commercial route to market.
The successful eight companies joining BetaDen for cohort 2.0 this autumn are: Impact Aerial - a drone technology company using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Utelize - an IT based platform for private telecoms, Voice Biometrics - Identity authentication as a service, Data Legacy – an online data platform developed to protect your Data Legacy after life. Also joining these exciting companies in August will be; Green Gorilla Apps – an online platform based within the sporting sector, Wearable Link – wearable technology incorporating AI, CYDON – A decentralised data management platform for secure data storage and Hero Skin – wearable technology within extreme sports.
Worcestershire continues to build its reputation as one of the fastest growing economies in the UK and is rapidly becoming one of the UK’s recognised technology hubs. Also home to Worcestershire 5G industry 4.0. testbed, which is driving advanced manufacturing innovation in the UK as part of the Government’s drive to lead internationally on industry 4.0, Worcestershire continues to grow its thriving tech sector.
